Horseback Riding

Camp Kanata’s horseback riding program is one hour per day, Monday through Friday, part of our day and overnight camp activity options. It is taught and supervised by Kanata’s barn staff who have many years of experience in beginning horseback riding instruction. Campers are also taught basic horse care. It is a Western riding program. Camp Kanata provides helmets, and campers will bring long pants to change into, as well as wear closed-toed shoes.

Campers who choose to do horseback riding must register for it at the same time as they register for their session of camp, and there is an additional cost. Please see our sessions page for additional pricing.
