Safety is our first priority. Counselors and instructors are certified by the Civilian Marksmanship Program in the safe operation of a camp riflery program. Range instructors observe all campers in a class environment.
All campers start with beginner BB gun and may progress to a .22 caliber single loading rifle. Campers must complete a safety orientation and evaluation from staff regarding maturity, responsibility, skill progression and listening skills before participating.
There is no better way to teach responsibility and respect, two of our important character traits, than under the careful supervision of a qualified instructor.
