Backyard Games

At Camp Kanata we specialize in creating opportunities for campers to play and have fun together. We choose games and sports that offer campers the chance to work together, learn to disagree constructively, and how to win or lose and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

We play mini golf on our nine-hole mini golf course, cornhole, the ever popular childhood favorite tetherball, and the more recent addition of Ga-Ga. Ga-Ga is a form of dodgeball played with one ball that is kept below the waist. It’s fast paced and can be played in groups, with teams or individually.
