Advisory Board Member
Alison works as the Lower School Literacy Specialist at Durham Academy, where she supports teachers and students in reading, writing and phonics. In the 1990s she counted down the days each year until she could return to Camp as a camper, trainee, counselor and Daisy Unit Leader/Arts and Crafts Director. One of the close friends she made while working at Camp later became her husband. He impressed her early on with creative ways to entertain others and nerdy insights about math - both of which are very useful in raising their three great kids.
